A Nudist Club with a Real Family Attitude

In this day of high-end resorts, sometimes it’s a treat to get back to the basics. Star Ranch is one of those places. A family nudist club in the classic sense, members treat each other as family, and in fact many of the members are actually family.

There are multi-generation families here that actually met and married among the membership.  There are neighbors that treat each other as siblings; not so unusual, since many of them grew up together.  The closeness radiates from these people in a way that can only make you want to be a part of the family yourself.

State plans to add sand to eroded Robert Moses beach

February 18, 2010 By BILL BLEYER
The state parks department is arranging to place 200,000 cubic yards of sand on a badly eroded section of beach at Robert Moses State Park so it can be used by the public this summer.

The sand will replenish the beach at Field 5, which has been so badly eroded by storms over the past year that it sometimes disappears at high tide and has been closed off periodically.

Nudist Quotes

Thomas Traherne (1636-74), English clergyman, poet, mystic

By this you may see who are the rude and barbarous Indians: for verily there is no savage nation under the cope of Heaven, that is more absurdly barbarous than the Christian World. They that go naked and drink water and live upon roots are like Adam, or Angels in comparison of us.

— Thomas Traherne
