Ghost Town?

Is this forum a ghost town?

We hope not.  The reason there are no posts yet is because no one has been into the site yet.  We hope that will change in the very near future as we begin inviting leaders from around the international nudist community come visit and give us their opinions and suggestions for the site. 

If you have any opinions or suggestions, we hope you will feel free to share them with us here.

 Well,I'M here,for whatever

 Well,I'M here,for whatever THAT'S worth. I've only been a member for a few days,and I think this is the 2nd or 3rd time I logged in,but I really like it. Of all the nudist sites and places I've been to on the 'net,I can't recall seeing ANY that are so aware and celebratory of nudism's place in history. I've only begun to explore,but I really dig what I've stumbled onto so far. Hopefully,this will be the first of MANY comments.


 Speaking of which,I HATE to complain,but the 'pic comment' mechanism is TOTALLY screwed up(or maybe I'M not using it right). I try to comment on a pic,and the comment lands on the NEXT pic. Am I screwing it up,or is the device off? Like I said,I like this site so far,hope to be contributing for a long time. Peace :)(:

Sorry about the difficulties with the comments.  That part of the site is not working too well.  Hopefully I'll find some time to figure out what is going wrong.

A lot of things going on here,i would like to have seen more info on your profile at nudist-resorts.org.   I am naken trying to register but having difficult time using the temporary password witch is a mixture of upper an lower case letters an a number,i will try again tomorrow when i am not tired.Thanks

Wow- I get to be first?!  There's always room for good, wholesome nudist websites. I wish you success, and plan to visit often!

Thanks boomdriver for the vote of support.

It is always difficult to begin a new community, particularly when there are several other good ones out there.  But we believe there is room for a truly international source of information about what is happening in the world of nudism and that is the role that we hope to play.

Yeah, we are still here Rhino.

Don't know why people don't care to post on this site.  I guess we have so much content coming in every day from all around the world, that people spend more time looking and reading than writing comments.

In all seriousness, it takes a certain critial mass of posters to make discussion forums really begin to click.

That said, we welcome your comments about the site or about nudism at any time.

Very good to see someone still posts here. So far I like what I see. Well, other than not seeing much action on the msg board. Who knows me if we post enough someone else wil join in and maybe we could have a snowball.

I'll be happy to post with you Rhino.  What kind of things have you got on your mind?

As for me, I'm perpetually thinking about simple things that the public might do to raise the awareness and acceptance of public nude recreation.  Any ideas?

Not sure

I have traveled the world and of the countries I have been to, the US seems to be the most uptight about the naked human body. I honestly have no idea why. In Europe it's nothing to go to the beach and see naked or topless people. Maybe it goes back to when this country was founded and that group of folks where uptight about it and it has just stuck. As far as trying to get the public to accept nude recreation, I think we are a long way away from it being accepted here. I also believe the less of a deal we make of it, the more people will become involved and find out they like the life style. Maybe there is a poll idea, how and or why did you decide to live naked?

Poll Idea

I think the poll idea ia a good one.  I will see what I can do to put it on the front page here.

I agree that there is a lot of resistance to nudity here in the US and that it is going to take a long time to work past it.

I am a strong believer that the internet is a HUGE asset in promoting the idea of social / recreational nudism.  Before the internet, we were all in the closet.  Now with the aid of NudistStop and other sites like it, dedicated nudist bloggers and legitimate nudist community websites, (non-nudist) people interested in nudism have an opportunity to learn what nudism REALLY is in the safety of their own homes while having access to worldwide nudist organizations and destinations that they can reach out to in order to experience nudism firsthand.

The best thing to do would be to designate everywhere as clothing optional, and we could leave little fenced in areas for the prudes to prance around in. Call them "Prudist Camps". They could peer out of their fences and indulge in their offensive "I'm offended" behavior whenever they saw a natural person walk by, without bothering the rest of us.
